Established in 2019, Erskine Archaeology and Heritage is a private consultancy company. Based in Christchurch we work with both private and commercial clients throughout New Zealand. We offer a comprehensive range of archaeological services as well as property history reports.
Our Team
Sarah Erskine
Owner Operator - Consultant Archaeologist
Sarah graduated from Otago University in 2012 with a BA in Anthropology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Biological Anthropology. Since graduation, archaeology has taken her around the world, allowing her to work on projects throughout New Zealand, Australia and Thailand. Professionally Sarah enjoys deep diving into research, working with human skeletal remains and undertaking historic European artefact analysis. She is currently working on her Master’s degree via distance learning at Otago University.
In her personal life Sarah enjoys renovating her 100 year old villa as well as spending time with her two rescue dogs (who are also big fans of bones and digging things up).
